Four Nations History Network

The aim of the Four Nations History Network is to connect researchers – be they postgraduates, early career historians or established academics – working on the four nations of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. With the ‘New British History’ no longer so ‘new’, we hope to reignite the debate over how we study ‘British’ history. The network is open to anyone using ‘four nations’ or ‘British’ frameworks, and to those researching the individual nations.

We run a weekly blog and invite you to email us with your ideas for guest posts. We want to hear about your research and hope that this blog will be a place where you can find out more about the wider Four Nations community.
